Spectroscopes

Spectroscopes can be used to generate characteristic absorption spectra of colored stones. These absorption spectra are almost like an individual fingerprint and many stones can be determined with this method or stones of the same colour can be separated from one another quickly and reliably. We offer high quality portable hand-held spectroscopes in different designs. Depending on the model, the specifications include, for example, an additional wavelength scale of 400-750 nm, Linear Dispersion of 60 mm, an adjustable slit and Angular Dispersion of C-F7°. We also offer a device set with a handheld spectroscope including spectroscope stand and cold light sources.
