Hand-held spectroscope

With this spectroscope, characteristic absorption spectra of colored stones can be generated. These absorption spectra are almost like an individual fingerprint and many stones can be determined with this method or stones of the same colour can be separated from one another quickly and reliably. Well suited for identifying rubies, spinels, garnet, alexandrite or red tourmaline.
