Loupes

Loupes are precision instruments and are used in various working environments. The jewelry industry and watchmakers use them, as do gemmologists. These handy magnifying devices are used for viewing, analyzing, measuring, checking and testing. Jewelers also use them to evaluate stones or stamps. If an expert can see no internal defects in the diamond using a magnifying glass with 10x magnification, it is “flawless”.
