Loupes

Loupes are precision instruments that can be used in various areas of application, in the jewellery industry for example, as also by watchmakers and gemmologists.These handy magnification instruments are ideal for observation, analysis, measurement, view control and examinination purposes. Jewellers workwith them to evaluate stones or stamps hallmarks. A diamond is classified as flawless if no internal imperfections can be detected by an expert using a loupe with 10-fold magnification. Magnifying spectacles are used for tasks that can only be performed with two free hands. Such spectacles enable stereoscopic near vision, i.e. the close observation of an image with spatial depth.
