Gemmological expertise and passion for gemmology
It was important for us to find a specialist with genuine expertise who shares our passion for gemmology. Dimitri says: “Working in the gemstone industry is the best thing that has ever happened to me.” He has proven experience in identifying and evaluating Diamonds and Gemstones all from his home laboratory which he has created himself.
Sound gemmological experience on social media
Dimitri has been a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Alumni member since 2016, having completed the Applied Jewelry Professional (AJP) Diploma and the GIA Diamonds and Diamond Grading Course. He has also studied Diamonds at De Beers headquarters in London.
After delivering a successful gemmology presentation at GIA London in June 2025, Dimitri was invited to join the leadership team at GIA London as their Alumni Social Media Manager – a role that recognises his commitment to gemmological education and community building.
